The Woman Behind the Vision

For as long as I can remember, I have had an eye for beauty and a passion to create beautiful things. A table set with intention, a shelf that tells a story, a room that finally feels like home. Beauty in the ordinary has always called to me, and after years of building a career serving others, I've finally answered that call for myself.

I've reached a moment in my life where I feel pulled toward work that excites me, fulfills me, and gives me the flexibility to be the woman I want to be. But getting here wasn't a straight line. I explored other avenues, tried on different ideas, and kept searching for the thing that felt right. What I didn't realize was that I'd been building it all along.In the small moments I styled, the tables I set, the corners I refreshed, and the celebrations I made beautiful without even thinking about it, I was creating the framework for the work I'm stepping into now.

What areas do you serve?

I'm based right here in Paducah, Kentucky, and I serve clients throughout the greater Paducah area including McCracken County and surrounding communities. For in-person services, I'm happy to discuss travel for events or projects a bit further out (travel fees may apply for locations beyond 30 miles). As for my eDesign and consulting services? Distance is no barrier at all. I will work with you wherever you are, if you're ready to create something beautiful, I'm here for it.

Do you bring your own decor and props?

My foundation is always working with what you already own because the pieces that mean something to you are the ones that make a space feel truly lived-in and loved. That said, I can offer prop rental for an additional fee. I can also handle shopping and sourcing on your behalf for an additional fee, bringing in exactly what your space or event needs within your approved budget. We'll always talk through what you have before we talk about what to add.

What if I just need help with one room or one table?

Then that is exactly what I'm here for. I genuinely mean it when I say no project is too small. A single styled shelf, one perfect tablescape, a beautifully styled corner that finally makes the room come alive. Small moments deserve just as much care as grand ones, and I built Starr•Lit Interiors specifically around that belief. You never have to justify the size of your project to me. Whether it's one table or one room, if it matters to you, it matters to me.

How far in advance should I book?

For in-person events, home styling sessions, and seasonal installs, I recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance so we have plenty of time to plan, source, and prepare. For larger events, 4 to 6 weeks is ideal, especially during the fall and holiday seasons when bookings fill quickly. For eDesign and consulting services, turnaround is typically faster, often within one to two weeks. That said, if something comes up unexpectedly, don't hesitate to reach out. If my schedule allows, I'll always do my best to accommodate you.
