Creating spaces that feel like home

My love for creating started when I was a little girl styling Barbie and sketching outfits in a binder. Growing up in military housing taught me how much life you can bring into a space with intention — something I learned watching my mom make every home feel like ours, even when the walls stayed beige.

That spark carried me into studying interior design at Murray State University and into a decade-long career at Lowe’s, where I grew from kitchen and bath specialist to assistant store manager. I learned how to lead, how to serve, and how to show up for people — but creativity was always the place where I came alive. Whether I was designing cabinets, building display vignettes, or making late-night Cricut projects, that spark kept finding its way back to me.

Now I’m stepping into my second act. StarrLit Interiors is where my love for design, storytelling, and possibility come together. It’s a place where I get to create warm, intentional spaces that help people see the beauty in their homes — and give myself the flexibility to be the wife, mom, mimi, daughter, sister, and friend I want to be.

This work feels like purpose. It feels like coming home. And I’m ready for what comes next.
